I have been experimenting with dapping and pounding to form my own shapes. And I tried some matte finish enamel. Me thinks I like it!!
These are made by fusing fine silver..i love fusing..watching that split second of molten metal. This is one of those...gee why didn't they tell me that. I wanted purple of fine silver. So I happily enameled...they came out of the kiln...Huh? Did I use the wrong enamel? Ok..so I put on another layer. Making double sure I sued the right colors. GREEN again?!? So I talked to my favorite enamel supplier, Joan Schlaifer of
enameling.com, and she told me..Oh yes...that color purple fires green on fine silver. ok..now I know. It is a pretty color green.
