Where do you find inspiration?

Lately I have been finding inspiration all over the place. The best inspiration comes from my customers. They ask for Colors/Styles I don't think about...or haven't gotten to yet. This ring and earrings were a suggestion from a customer, Kristin Haycocks:
So I followed the creative flow...and came up with these:

Here is another...I was in this Treasury by Kathleen Cavalaro:
I just absolutely loved the pop of golden color with the robins egg blue. So I came up with this:I was so inspired by a post on Facebook by Mary Ellen Golden(who by the way does the most incredible watercolors (maryellengolden.etsy.com). She posted a picture of herself wearing a custom dyed Shirt by Diana Hughes of Dye Diana Dye(find her on etsy). Diana calls her shirt: Trailing Tendrils Time's Echo Top. Ellen had the photo taken in her Hydrangea garden wearing her top. I found it so stunning that I had to figure out how to translate this to enamel:
This is what I came up with. It is my new most favorite color blend. My mind is always trying to figure out what else I can use it on...what can I shape out of copper?? Any ideas? Much thanks everyone for all of the inspiration.

Very busy summer

Usually the summer time is a slow time for me. Every one is on vacation. Not much shopping being done. But not this summer. I was again so lucky to be in Etsy Blog the Storque on July 23rd. So excited..it took me this long to recover from just those 2 posts.

Been so busy....

Have to get in a new groove. Kids are out of school so I have less time for Jewelry. Waahhhyyy! Yes that is a very loud whine. I guess I am back to less sleep. That's ok as I have developed my own formula for for a faux "starbucks" iced mocha. It is sugar free and LOW FAT. My hubby and I actually think it is better....AND CHEAPER!
First we use the AeroPress:We buy coffee beans at Costco ANY dark roast...not picky at this point. But they have to be Dark and Rich. While the coffee is hot add 1 large scoop of International Coffee Decaf Sugar Free Swisse Mocha (or more to taste).Once that is mixed in you add a cup of non fat milk (or more) and a bunch of ice. I make this is a large tumbler. I start every morning this way. It I want a REAL treat in the afternoon I blend all that with a scoop of light vanilla ice cream...weeeeee...up til midnight then. Just typing this makes me want to go make one right now.
Ok..now I must get back to the jewelry. There have been so many treasuries of late I just cannot keep up. Here are a few I did catch.
